Coaching

Road
to Pro.

A structured competitive development path for players who are serious about reaching the highest level they are capable of. Not everyone will turn professional — but everyone who commits to this programme will find out exactly where their ceiling is.

Who it's for

Serious
Players.

The Road to Pro programme is for players who have moved past the recreational phase and want to compete. You may already be playing tournaments, or you may be at the point where you know it is time to take the next step. Either way, you need a structured plan — not random sessions.

This is not a beginner programme. It is demanding, honest, and results-oriented. Axel will tell you exactly where you stand and exactly what needs to change. If you are willing to do the work, the results will follow.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of padel experience

Ability to train at least 3 sessions per week

Willingness to compete in organised tournaments

Physical fitness sufficient for high-intensity sessions

Commitment to the full programme structure

Programme

The Four
Phases.

01

2–4 months

Foundation

A thorough technical audit followed by targeted work to clean up the fundamentals. Grip, footwork, and shot mechanics are rebuilt from the ground up where needed. Nothing advanced until the base is solid.

02

2–3 months

Competition Preparation

Tactical pattern drilling, match-intensity conditioning, and mental skills work. You learn to play under pressure, manage momentum, and make better decisions in competitive points.

03

Ongoing

Active Competition

Structured entry into local and national tournaments. Between events, sessions focus on what the match results reveal — plugging specific gaps and building on what is already working.

04

Ongoing

Advanced Performance

For players competing at regional or national level. Sessions focus on the fine margins: shot selection under fatigue, opponent profiling, physical peaking, and pre-competition routines.

Structure

What's
Included.

Initial assessment

A dedicated session to evaluate your current technical level, physical condition, match video (if available), and short and medium-term competitive goals.

Personalised training plan

A periodised programme built around your assessment results, your competition calendar, and your availability. Updated after each tournament block.

Weekly coaching sessions

Structured on-court sessions covering technique, tactics, and physical work. Frequency is determined by your phase and your schedule.

Competition support

Pre-tournament preparation sessions and post-tournament debrief. Axel reviews your match performance and adjusts the programme accordingly.
